our impact in East Africa

We work in the local communities of Uganda to assist in Education, Health, Agriculture,Business, and more!

OUR COMMUNITY IN UGANDA

Every Day Ministries International and its community center are located about an hour and a half north of Kampala, in the heart of Kiwempe, Uganda. Though not far from the city, the community continues to recover from the effects of a war that occurred over 30 years ago, as well as the lasting impact of the HIV/AIDS crisis that deeply affected the region.

What We Do

01.

— WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

From the moment she wakes up, the demands of life often rest heavily on her shoulders. Yet within her lies incredible strength and unlimited potential. Through support, training, and opportunity, you can help her unlock that potential, empowering her to build a better future for herself, her family, and her community.

Empower women. Strengthen families.

Helping women discover new opportunities creates lasting change. Through the Every Day Ministries International Women’s Empowerment Program, women are equipped with the skills, confidence, and support needed to break the cycle of poverty. With your support, Every Day Ministries International partners with women as they start small businesses, strengthen their livelihoods, and provide for their families. Empowering women and girls to speak for themselves and pursue their goals creates opportunities that can transform families and communities for generations.

Empower women with the tools to build happier and healthier futures.

Every Day Ministries International partners with women to create a customized and holistic strategy that fits their needs.

Economic Empowerment

When a woman generates an income, it doesn’t only benefit her — the entire community profits. Through the training techniques below, Every Day Ministries International equips women to start and successfully operate their own businesses.

  • Financial education
  • Vocational training
  • Cooperative savings groups
  • Microenterprise business training
  • Startup capital (not a loan)

Support Women’s Empowerment and help break the cycle of poverty.

    Family Health Empowerment

Every Day Ministries International trains and educates women, including expectant mothers, in early childhood development, nutrition, health, hygiene, literacy, cooking, and even small-scale agriculture.

    • Participants who engage in Every Day Ministries International’s programming have the opportunity to receive a month’s worth of food to help supplement their diet.
    • We provide mothers — with emphasis on those expecting — with vitamins for both themselves and their children.
    • Mothers with children under 5 years old can have them monitored through Every Day Ministries International’s programming to both reduce malnutrition and maintain healthy development.

      Girls’ Empowerment

Girls’ Empowerment groups are educational programs that help girls identify and strengthen their voice — both individually and collectively

In this program, girls learn about self-esteem, positive decision-making, nutrition, physical and emotional health, menstrual health, gender-based violence, and harmful beliefs and practices. This education helps them plan for their futures.

02.

-VOCATIONAL TRAINING AND ENTEPRENEURSHIP

Vocational Training and Entrepreneurship

While educating a child is the first step out of poverty it is not the last. As education becomes more readily available to this generation, many students are graduating at university. However, the job market is not increasing and competition for jobs is extremely tough. For every 400,000 graduates ready to enter the labor force, only 80,000 find formal employment.

The training center will have computers, kitchen and catering equipment, sewing machines, carpentry and construction tools, modern farming equipment, and video and photography equipment. In-depth training sessions will be offered in all areas in order to increase the students’ opportunities in the job market, as well as helping them create their own businesses.

Although these training sessions will give our students an advantage over other college graduates, it will not change the current job market. We intend to start an in-depth entrepreneurship course aimed at training a few select students who exhibit the dedication, skills, and knowledge to start their own mass-product businesses, selling to thousands and, in turn, employing thousands. Students on this course will become job creators with the intention of adding to the economic development of their entire country.

03.

CHARACTER BUILDING AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT

Character building and spiritual development are at the heart of nurturing strong, responsible, and purpose-driven individuals. At Every Day Ministries International, we believe that true transformation begins from within. While education and physical support are essential, a child’s inner growth—morally, emotionally, and spiritually—is what shapes them into resilient, confident, and compassionate adults.

Character building helps children learn values such as honesty, integrity, respect, responsibility, kindness, and self-discipline. Through mentorship, counseling, leadership opportunities, and daily guidance from caring staff, children grow in confidence and learn how to make wise choices, overcome challenges, and relate well with others.

Spiritual development gives children a foundation of faith and hope. Through Bible study, discipleship programs, prayer, and Christian fellowship, they come to understand God’s love and purpose for their lives. This spiritual grounding empowers them to stand firm through hardship, develop strong morals, and build a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Together, character building and spiritual development shape the whole person—mind, heart, and spirit—preparing them not only for success in life but also for meaningful service in their families, communities, and nation.

04.

— EDUCATION

Every Day Christian Academy aims to provide not only a top-notch education by village Standards but by national standards. We equip and train local teachers in different teaching methods through our international teacher exchange volunteer program ad how integrate career guidance into the new curriculum competence based.

We have plans to build a primary and secondary school in the village as well! The nearest secondary school for the children in the area is over a two hour walk. The secondary school costs and distance can discourage students and many opt. additionally, we plan to build dormitories to house children living in unsuitable home environments so they can be encouraged and given a place to focus on their studies. Giving students an opportunity to attend such a school will bring their mind set out of a life of poverty and give them confidence in knowing they can succeed in life. HEALTH CARE

Many diseases that plague Africa, such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, typhoid and measles are preventable. Uganda’s infant mortality rate is high: nearly 90 out of 1,000 babies born do not live to see their first birthday. Beyond health, mothers lack the knowledge of how to stimulate their children at a young age to give them a head start in education.

We’ve held multiple medical camps where medical teams offer free mobile medical clinics for 3 days. Thousands of people flocked to these medical camps. Thanks to volunteers and financial partners, we were able to finally build a clinic in the town of Bugono, Luwero,Buikwe, providing medical care year round.

At the medical clinic, we seek to not only provide medical care but health education for the community. The clinic will have a special section dedicated to focusing on pre-natal care, family planning, and children’s health and development so we can give these children the very best start in life. We will also soon have the ability to give vaccines! This major development will help protect children and adults against preventable disease and their spread.

What We Care For!

EMPOWERING CHILDREN TO ACHIEVE THEIR DREAMS.

Empowering children to achieve their dreams means turning hope into reality—one opportunity at a time. It’s about building a world where a child’s background does not limit their future, and where every child is given the chance to learn, grow, and believe in something greater.

With the right support—education, encouragement, and care—dreams no longer feel distant. Children begin to see a clear path ahead, one that leads to purpose, confidence, and the ability to make a difference in their communities.

Often, it starts with something small: a school uniform, a book, a caring mentor, or a simple word of encouragement—“You can do this.” These moments can spark confidence, restore hope, and unlock potential that might otherwise remain hidden.

Raising dreams within reach is more than helping children succeed. It’s about empowering them to rise above challenges, dream boldly, and one day extend that same hope to others—creating a ripple effect of transformation that lasts for generations.

BUILDING A NEW FUTURE FOR CHILDREN IN NEED

Every child deserves a chance to dream, to learn, and to grow—regardless of the challenges they face. For children in need, life often begins with obstacles: poverty, neglect, exploitation, or a lack of access to education. Yet, even in the midst of hardship, hope can be planted, nurtured, and allowed to flourish.

Building a new future for these children means more than providing material support—it is about opening doors to opportunities that empower them to rise above their circumstances. It is about education that ignites curiosity, mentors who guide with compassion, and communities that embrace them with love and care.

Each small act—whether it’s a school uniform, a book, a safe space to learn, or simply believing in a child’s potential—can change the course of a life. These gestures plant seeds of confidence, resilience, and hope that grow into dreams once thought impossible.

When children are empowered, their futures transform. They become leaders, caregivers, and changemakers—individuals who not only overcome their own challenges but also inspire and uplift those around them.

Building a new future for children in need is a mission of hope. It is the belief that every child can shine, every dream can take flight, and that with support and opportunity, today’s struggles can become tomorrow’s triumphs.

DISCIPLING THE NEXT GENERATION IN CHRIST.

Discipling the next generation in Christ is more than teaching children and youth about faith—it is guiding them to live out the love, truth, and purpose found in Jesus. It is planting seeds of godliness in their hearts, nurturing spiritual growth, and equipping them to walk boldly in obedience to God’s Word.

Through discipleship, young people learn not only to know about God, but to know Him personally. They are encouraged to study Scripture, pray, serve others, and embrace a life that reflects Christ’s character. This intentional guidance builds a foundation that will carry them through challenges, decisions, and opportunities throughout life.

Discipling the next generation also means mentoring, modeling faith in action, and creating spaces where children can ask questions, explore their gifts, and develop a personal relationship with Jesus. It is about shaping not just future leaders, but faithful servants who will impact their families, communities, and the world for God’s glory.

As Proverbs 22:6 reminds us: “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Discipling the next generation is an investment in eternity—raising young disciples who will shine Christ’s light and continue His mission long into the future.
